He is an actor, singer, improv performer and professional mime. He was a faculty member at Escuela de Teatro Físico y Pantomima Clásica de Puerto Rico. He has also studied corporal mime techniques with Spanish mime and actor Mai Rojas and dancer Raffaella Crapio. As an actor he has performed in several Puerto Rican films, musicals and plays. We are glad to have him on our jury!

He is an actor, director, producer, editor, director of photography and teacher. Studied Theater and Audiovisual Communications at University of Puerto Rico. His films have been awarded internationally. Currently works as a film and theater teacher. We are glad to have him on our jury!

Dr. Patrick-André Mather is a tenured professor of linguistics at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras. A graduate of McGill University (Montreal) and of the University of Pittsburgh, he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in sociolinguistics, literature, and language policy and planning. He is regularly invited as a scholar-in-residence at New York University. In his literature courses, Mather discusses movie adaptations of novels, and his publications focus on issues of social justice and language contact in the Caribbean and beyond. We are glad to have him on our jury!
